Your Instructor
Rachel Solt is a dedicated educator, mentor, author and storyteller. In her work, Rachel has served such roles as class teacher, enrollment coordinator, parent enrichment facilitator, pedagogical director and mentor to students and teachers.
Passionate about experiential learning, Rachel founded Out of the Classroom & Into The World (OCIWorld), an organization focused on providing alternative learning opportunities for adolescents through real-life experiences.
Rachel, along with her husband, is co-founder of Ojala Naturals, a CBD skincare company based in Costa Rica. She is also the author of the children’s book “The Star Father’s Gift: A Story from the Bees.”
Rachel holds a BA in International Relations from Pepperdine University and pursued her Master’s degree at California Lutheran University. She earned her Waldorf Early Childhood teaching credentials from Rudolf Steiner College in Fair Oaks, CA.
With over two decades of experience in both public and Waldorf education, Rachel combines her progressive interpretation of Waldorf principles with a deep reverence for nature. She approaches her work with a joyful spirit, nurturing children’s curiosity with magic and wonder. Her warm-hearted and sensitive guidance supports parents navigating the complexities of raising children in today’s world.
As a mother and step-mother of three adult children, Rachel draws from her years of parenting experience, enriching her understanding and approach to education and mentorship. Her dedication to fostering a supportive learning environment resonates in her work, where she brings gentle wisdom and mentorship to both children and families alike.
