Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes our policies and procedures on the collection, use, and disclosure of your information when you use the Service and tells you about your privacy rights and how the law protects you. You can link to our privacy policy online here or download a copy below.

  1. If you forget your password or need a new portal login we will always help you so you can always download your materials for life.
  2. We have legal guidelines in place internally, so that if anything happens to our company, you will still retain lifetime access.

Your Lifetime Commitment to Us

To continue offering these unique benefits you also need to make a commitment to us. Many companies do not allow downloads. Many companies only offer you access for a limited amount of time. We offer you downloads AND lifetime access. We can only do this if our customers have a commitment to us.

  1. You cannot resell your materials in any language.
  2. You cannot resell your login.
  3. You cannot create translations without permission. Any translations created cannot be resold and can only be used personally.
  4. You cannot share your materials with extra people who are not part of your original agreement.
  5. You cannot share your login with extra people who are not part of your original agreement.

Customer Responsibility

The customer is responsible for any errors or mistakes made during their transaction. This includes providing an incorrect email address (which may result in a delay in account access), bank fees resulting from errors, or other mistakes. If you accidentally purchase an item twice, of course, we will refund the second purchase; However, the customer is responsible for any bank fees related to that mistake. Please be sure to check your cart for accuracy before checkout and payment.

When you make a purchase, transaction fees from the banks and fees paid to teachers are taken out of your purchase immediately. These fees cannot be recovered by our company and remain your responsibility, even if an accidental purchase is made.

What Does My Purchase Include and Not Include?

The cost of your curriculum includes:

  1. Your curriculum and one login
  2. Updates to the curriculum for life
  3. Ability to print and download your curriculum
  4. Ability to use the curriculum for all your children in your immediate family
  5. Access to the Member Forum for personalized help, weekly Q & A, and community connections at: www.EarthschoolingForum.com
  6. Access to the Member Help Page at: www.EarthschoolingHelp.com
  7. Access to the Comments Section for additional personalized help.
  8. Transcripts sent digitally to any school that directly requests them from us. The school must make the request.

All of the items above are services we pay our staff to maintain for you.

Because we offer lifetime access to all of our curricula and cannot predict how many requests each account will need for the following items, the following items are not included in the cost of your curriculum as they require us to pay teachers and/or staff members additional hourly fees for the creation or maintenance of these items:

  1. Physical diplomas and transcripts
  2. More than one account login
  3. LIVE support via the Educators’ Forum
  4. Email consulting
  5. Zoom consulting
  6. Personal consulting directly related to your student or a program you created outside of Earthschooling
  7. Questions sent directly by email rather than through the forum’s established systems, comments section, or help page.
  8. Usage at a school, homeschool pod, charter school, or other group (unless you purchased a school license here)

How We Calculate Our Prices

While we strive to always keep things affordable for customers, we also believe that teachers deserve fair payment for their work, so we are unable to compromise on this, as many companies do. We are happy to be the most affordable option in the Waldorf community for the products we offer. This is because we base our prices on cost rather than market value. Many Waldorf curriculum providers base their prices on “what they can get away with charging,” so people are often confused as to why our prices are so low. We only base our products on cost (staff, website hosting cost, teachers, etc.), so we keep our prices low.

Some of the cost that goes into your curriculum package includes: website hosting for videos and streaming (very costly), ongoing support staff for daily questions on the member forum, email staff, phone staff, texting staff, product development, teacher support and development, office supplies, maintenance staff, website and curriculum upgrades, curriculum creation and video creation hours by teachers, financial officer salary, ongoing necessary educational memberships, healthcare for staff, website expenses for newsletter, apps, and shopping cart support, charges from PayPal and Square for supporting credit cards, Zoom subscription for member support, ongoing staff hours for curriculum updates, webmaster salary (monthly upkeep is needed for such a large website), computer programs for providing accessibility and video compatibility, artist fees for creating website and curriculum art, and more.

We are not a “PDF provider” that just provides downloads of a syllabus and then lets the system run itself. Of course, all websites now have monthly expenses. However, even beyond these normal expenses, we provide ongoing support, ongoing updates to the customer experience, curriculum, and member experience. With Earthschooling, you are purchasing a product that is created with love, continuing support, and good karma (paying staff and teachers a fair salary).

Because of the large number of expenses on our end and because we pay our staff commissions based on their hard work and sales, anyone who shares their curriculum is stealing from our teachers and staff. We are not a large impersonal company. We are a small business that works with real teachers and parents who depend on your honesty to care for their families. You can feel great about your purchase with us, knowing that your money is directly supporting a family. None of your money goes to shareholders or frivolous expenses. In addition, all of our staff, teachers, and owners have committed to the Giving Back Pledge we follow.

Purchase Notes

These materials are all delivered electronically and can be viewed, listened to, and/or printed on your Kindle, iPad, Computer, smartphone, or any other device. We cannot offer refunds on electronic materials. Our very low prices do not allow for the resale or transfer of memberships. Please see our FREE Electronic Materials Guide for help. We also give FREE tech support for all electronic materials. We also take orders by using our alternate payment page at: https://squareup.com/market/the-bearth-institute. Note that we use PayPal as a credit card processing tool only, but you DO NOT need a PayPal account to pay for any of the items in our store. When you click on order, just choose “pay with debit or credit card” from the PayPal link, give them an email address that is not linked to a PayPal account, and choose “I do not want to register for a PayPal account” if asked. Usage Guidelines: Resale/Transferring/Sharing is Illegal

Resale, transfer, or sharing of any Earthschooling curriculum is illegal. When you purchase any electronic curriculum, books, mp3s, videos, or webinars online, you are agreeing that you will not resell or share this curriculum (or other item), transfer ownership of the curriculum (or other item), or share it in any manner. There are many reasons for this.

  1. This is standard for ALL electronic materials on any website. For example, if you purchase an e-book version of a book from Amazon, you are not allowed to resell it or share it. If you download a song from iTunes, it is illegal to resell it or share it.
  2. We pay for each person who accesses the website and pay a hefty fee each month to maintain the membership section and host all the member files. If the curriculum is passed from person to person, each sale would end up costing us hundreds of dollars. We would end up paying for customers to use our materials.
  3. The material you are purchasing is copyrighted.
  4. The contracts we have with our teachers provide for sale to one family, school, or person. If another person uses the same curriculum, we are legally bound to pay a second commission to the teachers involved in that curriculum. Once again, this would result in us paying hundreds of dollars OUT instead of a few dollars in.
  5. Electronic data is unique in that it can easily be distributed worldwide to hundreds of thousands of people in one instant. Sharing and reselling electronic materials of any kind puts those materials at risk of piracy and mass distribution, which devalues the program and the thousands of hours and more than 20 years of work that have gone into building it.
  6. This program goes way beyond curriculum materials. Among other things, it consists of a member forum, weekly Q & A sessions with a Waldorf teacher, weekly newsletter, and regular updates, which we pay for on a weekly basis. It is impossible to legally resell your access to personal services we pay for on an hourly basis.

Please contact us at: CustomerService@TheBEarthInstitute.com if you know of anyone trying to resell or share Earthschooling materials. If you have purchased re-sold Earthschooling materials in the past, please contact us to make payment for those materials and register your own personal account. This will prevent any future legal action.

Coupons, Upgrades, Scholarships, and Other Discounts

We cannot give upgrades, coupons, credits, or any discounts retroactively. If you do not use your credit code at checkout, you cannot come back later and ask for reimbursement or rebates. We do not give rebates or reimbursements.

Payment Plans

As of 2026, we no longer accept payment plans for individual items. We only use Affirm, Afterpay, and Klarna via the website www.WaldorfSchoolOnline.com.

Earthschooling only offers payment plans for the cost of items received in full. We do not offer subscriptions, even though the label on some payment portals categorizes payment plans as such. We label all payment plans clearly by stating “this is a payment plan and not a subscription” to avoid any confusion when making a purchase. When you enroll in a payment plan, the label on your plan says either “payment plan” or “This is a payment plan and not a subscription.”

Since items have been received in full, customers are expected to finish their payment plan.

Any payment plans that are not completed will go into collections and will be reported to credit agencies. In addition, you will lose access to the curriculum you started paying for if the payments are not made in full.

Refunds

As mentioned above, we do not offer refunds for any of our electronic materials. The contracts we have with our teachers require that all materials that are accessed be paid for. We are not able to run a system where items can be accessed (and potentially downloaded) without being paid for. Once you have received your login information, your materials are available to you in full. You then have full access, and it becomes impossible to return the materials.

We are only able to offer this amazing variety of materials, tutorials, and support from our teachers because we also offer them a safe place to share their wisdom and lessons. Thank you for understanding and supporting them in this way.

Additionally, print and electronic titles from Waldorf Books cannot be returned or refunded once they’re shipped, as we do not sell used books. The physical books in our Discount section are ones that have sustained minor damage in their journey to us from the publisher. We are only able to cancel Waldorf Books orders if our staff receives and processes a request before the order has been sent out.

Alternatives to Refunds

Because we are unable to offer refunds, customers do have the following options available to them before and/or after they make a purchase:

1. There are over 50 samples on our website and over 100 samples on YouTube at www.TheWaldorfChannel.com.

2. We allow customers to purchase “one month” or “one block” of a product for the low cost of $10 – $25.00. If they want to upgrade to a curriculum package, they receive a credit for their previous purchase as long as that upgrade happens within 30-days of the original purchase.

3. You can only use purchase credits to upgrade from lesson block/planner —> curriculum package —> Lifetime Family Package. You can not use purchase credits to downgrade from one product to a less expensive product or apply those credits to an unrelated product (for example, using a first-grade lesson block credit to upgrade to the second-grade curriculum).

4. We offer free support with all products to make sure customers are able to download, access, and use what they have purchased. In many cases, we are able to offer a free consulting session or develop a special chart, product, or class for a customer to fit their needs. 5. We have a Waldorf teacher who comes to the forum once a week. She can help you with any questions you may have about homeschooling, teaching, and the Waldorf method.

6. Our forum is open 24-hours a day. We have hundreds of experienced members happy to offer their support and advice if you post there.

7. In extreme cases, we allow the customer to exchange their item for another item of equal value (or higher value if they pay the difference) on the website (always at a loss to our company due to the commissions we pay to teachers on every product). Of course, even in extreme cases, we are not able to offer any alternative after the first 15-days of purchase.

Earthschooling Has a Professional Relationship With You

As much as we love to connect with our members on a personal level (see our Instagram and Facebook Forums), businesses cannot be run in the same way as a friendship. To be fair to everyone, we have the same policy for every customer, just as every professional company does, from your local coffee shop to a larger box store. We can definitely relate to individual life challenges – we have all had them; however, we cannot take these into consideration when you make purchases on our website.

If you have had an illness in the family, a job loss, or an accident, this is something to speak to friends or family members about and not our staff. If you change your mind about something, make a mistake, or your life circumstances change (you decide not to homeschool or you move, etc.), this is something that is part of your personal life and not part of our professional relationship.

Earthschooling Curriculum Details

All curriculum packages include a full year of complete curriculum (all the lesson blocks), teacher resources (how-to videos and e-book guides), organization and planning charts, and MP3s of verses (Preschool – G3). Lesson Block Details

All lesson blocks are included in the curriculum, so if you purchase the curriculum, you do not also need to purchase lesson blocks in the same grade. Lesson blocks offer you complete lessons and include any books, guides, illustrations, MP3s, and/or other educational materials you may need to teach the block.

Naturopathic Series Details

Since 1994, the Avicenna Institute of Natural Healing has trained students in holistic techniques from around the globe. Students explore the common thread that runs through all holistic systems, as well as gain knowledge from holistic traditions that would be lost if not preserved in courses like the ones offered here. We do not expect any issues with your purchase. This company is currently small, family owned and operated, and assisted by members of the community. Younger family members plan on continuing the company for at least 50 more years. However, we realize, that in today’s world, it is hard to predict anything. So we do have some documents in place to protect you as a customer.

We have documents and legal procedures in place if anything were to happen to our CEO, family members, or our company. We have guaranteed through these documents that no matter what happens here, you will have access to your curriculum. In the case of the death of the CEO the company will be transferred and continue to offer you access. In case of company closure (if the new owners decide to close the company) everyone would be given 6 months to download all their materials so they can use them for life.
