FREE SAMPLE: Revolutions: Lecture 1
This is an optional book (we own the copyright and publishing rights to it so are able to add to your forum for no extra fee) you may use for writing the song mentioned above. You do not need to read the entire book and it is completely optional. However, anyone interested in music may find this extra resource inspirational and useful. I have also included a sample of a song my daughter wrote for a photo essay I did. She was 21 when she wrote the song. However, she has been writing songs throughout her Waldorf educational experience. This song may also serve as an example of the kind of song you can write for this assignment.
Day One: Read this short introduction and then do the assignment. The assignment will take two days. Assignment: You’ve just read about George Hegel and the Hegelian dialectic formula. You need to compose a paragraph explaining the thesis, antithesis, and the synthesis of the French Revolution as you read or following the reading below. For example: If (A) my idea of freedom conflicts with (B) your idea of freedom then (C) neither of us can be free until everyone agrees to be a slave.
