- Unhurried Childhood: In a world that often rushes children into academics, Waldorf kindergarten allows young minds to develop at their own pace and fully experience the wonder of childhood.
- Play-Based Learning: Play is a child's work. Children learn through imitative and creative play, exploring their environment and developing essential social-emotional skills.
- Sensory-Rich Environment: Waldorf classrooms are designed to be warm, inviting, and filled with natural materials that stimulate a child's senses and encourage imaginative play.
- Emphasis on Imagination and Creativity: Storytelling, music, art, and movement are integral parts of the curriculum, fostering self-expression and imaginative thinking.
- Connection to Nature:Outdoor playtime and nature exploration are vital components of the Waldorf experience, fostering a love and respect for the natural world.
- Strong Teacher-Child Relationships: Waldorf educators strive to build nurturing relationships with their students, providing a supportive and stable learning environment.
- Holistic Development: Fosters intellectual, artistic, practical, social, and emotional growth.
- Enhanced Creativity and Imagination: Encourages out-of-the-box thinking and self-expression.
- Improved Physical and Mental Health: Promotes well-being through movement and connection with nature.
- Development of Emotional Intelligence: Helps children understand and manage their emotions effectively.
- Reduced Stress and Anxiety: Creates a calming and predictable environment.
- Strong Foundation for Lifelong Learning: Cultivates a deep love for learning through engaging and meaningful experiences.
These NEW Living Lesson Packages include everything that is in our Earthschooling Curriculum Packages but they go above and beyond by also providing you with Living Lessons. Living Lessons are video lessons where a teacher leads the class through a variety of main lessons, specialized lessons, stories, handwork, crafts, painting, form drawing, music, and more! You can use these lessons as examples to follow for your own teaching or can use them as supplements to your own teaching (we all need a break now and then. I would have loved to have these available on days I was ill or was taking care of my fussy baby).
